FEEDING THE HOMELESS

Feeding the homeless in our city is one of the outreach programs of the ministry, where we go out to serve our fellow men, women and children who find themselves on the streets of downtown, Montreal.

The women's ministry which operates on behalf of the church has over the years committed to feeding the homeless and less fortunate, lunches in the Atwater and Berri-UQAM areas of downtown Montreal; on a monthly bases.

On average the group has served over 1500 lunches yearly. Despite the number, it is often not enough because of the great need of those in need around us. We also do outreaches to refugees living at the YMCA and more.

In the winter, we donate hundreds more care packages of food, warm garments and other necessities.

This outreach is usually a collaborative effort from the women's ministry and the men's ministry; being the hands and feet of Jesus in the earth.
